Tilson, Wallace

TILSON, Wallace - of Espanola passed away peacefully at the Espanola General Hospital on Thursday February 25, 2010 at the age of 81. He was born in Fort Frances, Ont. March 24, 1928 and came to Espanola in 1948. He married Yvette Rheaume in 1952. Beloved father of Maureen Guay (husband David) of Savage, Minnesota, Marvin and Trevor both of Espanola and Murray of Timmins, Ont. He will be sadly missed by his six grandchildren and special friend Betty Buzdygan. Also survived by brother Murray of Portland, Oregon. He was predeceased by his wife Yvette, his parents John and Dolice (Gauthier) Tilson and his brothers Dalton and Jerome. Visitation will be on Friday February 26, 2010 from 7-9 pm at the BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday February 27, 2010 at 10am at St Jude's Roman Catholic Church. Interment of the ashes in the Espanola Cemetery at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Espanola General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
