WATKINSON, Beverly Anne - Peacefully, with her family at her side, Beverly Anne Watkinson (nee Boynton) of 387 Parkway Boulevard, Flin Flon, passed away at the Flin Flon Hospital on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the age of 56 years. Beverly was born in Oshawa, Ontario, on August 17, 1953, to parents Edward Boynton and Eileen Boynton (nee Holland). Beverly lived in Oshawa, ON (1953 - 1975), Thompson, MB (1975 - 1989), Val Caron, ON (1989 - 1996), Manitouwadge, ON (1996 - 2004), and Flin Flon, MB (2004 - present). On June 28, 1980, Beverly married Jesse Wesley Watkinson, whom she was married to for 29 years. While in Thompson, she received her Early Childhood Development Diploma. She was currently employed as an educational assistant at McIsaac Elementary in Flin Flon. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, fishing, playing cards and Nascar. Beverly was predeceased by her father Edward Boynton, mother Eileen Boynton, father-in-law Robert Jesse Watkinson, and nephew Brian Boynton. She is survived by her husband Jesse Watkinson of Flin Flon; mother-in-law Loreath Watkinson of Dauphin; brothers Ted (Lois)Boynton of Oshawa, Roy (Vivian) Boynton of Victoria and Wayne (Sandy) Boynton of Oshawa, daughters Roxanne (Kerry) McNabb of Thompson and Christy (Quenton) Watkinson of Thompson, sons Justin (Ashley) Watkinson of Gillam and Shawn (Anna) Watkinson of Thompson, grandchildren Jessa and Jared McNabb, Corbin and Mia Watkinson and Emma Watkinson. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Northminster Memorial United Church. Honourary pallbearers were Mark and Brenda Cottrell, Kerry McNabb, Ashley Gizowski, Bev Mutch, Ted Boynton and all her nieces and nephews. Bev had two passions in life. The first was her family, the second was children. As she was always there for her family, her family was there for her continually throughout her fight with cancer. On December 13, 2009 she passed peacefully. With this I say goodbye to my best friend, the mother of my children, my wife. May she be at peace.
