LARIVIÈRE, Bénonie (Ben) Joseph - The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Son of the late Joachin and Alice (née Pineault) Larivière. Beloved husband of Anita (née Landry) Larivière of Val Caron. Loving father of Paul (Jacqueline), Marcel (Barbara) both of Hanmer, Michel, Gisèle Meier (Rudy), and Roger (Monique) all of Val Caron. Predeceased by his son Gilles. Dear brother of Marielle Langdon (Late Percy) of Val Caron, Estelle Coleman (George) of California, and the late Rose Hélène Deschamplains (late Lucien). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Celine, Gilles, Renée, Robert, Christine, Cory, Melissa, Daniel and his great-grandchildren Audré, Gabriel, Miguel and Michel. Ben retired from INCO after 44 years of dedication. Ben was a former member of “Ligue du Sacre Coeur“ and very involved in his church. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St. Joseph St. Hanmer, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
