MALARSKI, Lydia (Kotanko) - In loving memory of Lydia “Lady Lydia“ (Kotanko) Malarski, 92 years, who passed away Saturday, December 26th, 2009 at the St. Joseph Villa. Beloved wife of Peter Malarski predeceased 1999. Loving mother of Eileen Irwin (Don predeceased), Erwin predeceased (Simone of Rosetown Saskatchewan), Ed (Dianne) of Cache Bay and Eleanor Thompson (Daniel) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Cindy (Rick), Debbie (Mike), Colleen (Bernie), Jeff, Blake, Jason (Jennifer), Robert, Meredith (Andrew), Rick (Lynn), Kathy, Tanja (Reg), Steven and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of Samuel and Issie Kotanko both predeceased. Dear sister of Alex predeceased, Mike of Vancouver, Kate predeceased, Lena of Brantford, Elsie of Brampton, Ruth, Bill and David all of Simcoe, Simon of Austrailia, and Ellen predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Lydia was born in Loyalist, Alberta. She married Peter in 1940. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and gardening. Special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph Villa and the “angels“ of Hillcrest and especially Wayne for all their care and compassion. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
