OUELLETTE, Lina (née Perron) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Daughter of the late Henri and of the late Emma (née Guillemette) Perron. Beloved wife of 60 years to Léandre Ouellette of Sudbury. Loving mother of Louise Paré (Réal) of Montreal, Roger Ouellette (Diane) of Orleans, Claire Huber (Gary) of Thornbury and Joanne Caisie (Daniel) of Kitchener. Predeceased by her son Denis (Pierrette of Deep River). Dear sister of Henriette Rochefort (late Wilfred) of North Bay, Arnel Perron (Cécile) of Astorville, Reverend Rhéal Perron of Verner and Reverend Ronald Perron of Sudbury. Predeceased by her sister Lucienne Cantin (late Théophile) and her brothers Aurel Perron (Georgette of Astorville), Adrien (Rolande of North Bay), Alcide (late Roselia and Nora of North Bay), Hector (Germaine of North Bay) and Camille (Angèla of North Bay). Sadly missed by her 10 great-grandchildren and her 1 great- grandchild. Lina retired from Canada Post after several years of service. Her good character and the kindness of her heart won the affection of her loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. A resident of Hanmer for 50 years, she will be remembered for having been a founding member of “Club d'âge d'or“, Valley East, a member of the “Dame de la Fédération des femmes canadiennes françaises“ and a former member of St-Jacques's church choir. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570, rue St-Joseph, Hanmer, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday December 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in St- Jacques Church, Hanmer.
