EDWARD, John Preston - Passed away peacefully at home, with family by his side on Friday, December 4, 2009, at the age of 83. Cherished husband and loving companion of June for 55 years. Predeceased by daughter Susan. Much loved father of Michael (Alice) and Phyllis (Ron). Proud grandfather of Matthew, Frances, Natalie, Andrea, Jeffrey and Ryan. Cherished brother of Peter, Charlotte, Jill, Tom and Patricia. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation at the TURNER & PORTER Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 11, 2009, at 3 o'clock. Cremation. If desired, donations to the Red Cross Society or a charity of your choice.
