HAYES, Helen Agnes (Flanigan) - In loving memory of Helen Agnes Hayes, 68 years of age, passed away on December 6, 2009 at home with her children at her side. Beloved wife of the late Michael Hayes. Loving mother of Sheila, Shirley (Mike Lalonde), Patrick (Nicole) and Catherine (Kevin Watson) all of Sudbury, Colleen (Greg Berger) of Kelowna, B.C., and Laurie of Guelph. Beloved grandmother to John, Robyn, Braeden, Parker, Collin, Jacob and Kristina. Dear daughter of George and Mary (Costello) Flanigan, predeceased. Dear sister of Ronald (Marian), Cecile (Tom Hale) and Patrick (Christiana). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Arthur Township, Helen moved to Sudbury in 1961. She was a lifetime member of the CWL and a devout member of St. Andrews the Apostle Church. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Resting at JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Funeral Mass in St. Andrews the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. Prayers 7:30pm Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sudbury Regional Cancer Centre or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated. (Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday).
