ARMSTRONG, Elaine Claudette (nee Joncas) - In loving memory of Elaine Claudette Armstrong (nee Joncas), 68 years, who passed away Friday December 4, 2009, at the SRH - Laurentian Site. Elaine, or “Nanny“ as she was lovingly known by her family, was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known to say “I love you“ at the end of every conversation whether it be in person, on the telephone or by wave from the window. She loved to bake and cook especially at Christmas time, and she always made everyone feel like they were family. She was a tolerant and wise woman who taught her children to be who they are. Elaine will be missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Beloved wife of Ross Edward Armstrong (predeceased). Loving mother of Allan (Jo- Anne), Debbie Brewster, Timmy and Terry both predeceased, Don predeceased (Nancy), Sandy Lavoie (Denis), Ross (Carrie), Tammy (Trait), Joe (Kim) and Tina (Pat). Sadly missed by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dear daughter of Joseph and Florence (Ouellette) Joncas both predeceased. Dear sister of Lillian Savage (predeceased), Fred Joncas (predeceased) and Roger Joncas (Lori). Resting at the, LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Val Caron/Blezard Valley Chapel, 1815 Main St., Val Caron. Funeral Mass in St. Kevin's Church, Val Therese, Monday, December 7, 2009 at 11 am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Valley East Cemetery.
