CLARE, Doris Marina (nee Aylsworth) - In loving memory of Doris Marina Clare (nee Aylsworth), 92 years, who passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 at Extendicare-York surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Maurice Kinkley (1954) and George Clare (1983) both predeceased. Loving mother of Maurice Kinkley (1936) predeceased, Wayne Kinkley (1999) predeceased, Arlene Dowdall (husband Dennis) and Candice Blais (husband Kirby). Cherished grandmother of Erika Moore (husband Brian), Chris Dowdall (wife Paula), Andrew Blais (wife Kristina), Adam Blais (friend Jessica Munroe) and great grandchildren Blake and Michelle. Dear daughter of Herbert and Grace (Rendell) Aylsworth predeceased. Dear sister of Marion Burley (husband Ernie) and Don Aylsworth (wife Sharon) and predeceased by Ralph, Ross, Alan and Herchimer Aylsworth, Christiana Manning and Shirley Estey. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Doris was well known for her wonderful sense of humour and her beautiful gift of music, of singing and playing the piano. She was an honourary lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #224 Copper Cliff. Doris was a faithful member of St. John the Divine Anglican Church Copper Cliff. She will be remembered as a wonderful person with a heart of gold. At Doris' request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations to the St. John the Divine Anglican Church Copper Cliff or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
