BARRETTE, Andre Maurice - In loving memory of Andre Maurice Barrette, 57 years, who passed away Saturday evening, November 28th, 2009 at Sudbury Regional Hospital- St Joseph Health Centre. Beloved husband of Jeannette (nee Lalonde) Barrette of Sudbury. Loving father of Michel (wife Tammy) of Timmins and Luc (wife Shelley) of Barrie. Special pepere of Joel, Melanie, Tarah, Melissa and Rebecca. Dear son of Roger Barrette predeceased 1994 and Evelyne (nee Levesque) Barrette of Sudbury. Dear brother of Paulette Cyr (husband Claude) and Richard (wife Anne Marie) both of Sudbury and predeceased by his sisters Helene Bell (2001) and Diane. Will be fondly remembered by the Lalonde family by several nieces and nephews and by his best friend Gary Franson of Sudbury. Andre was born and raised in Sudbury. He married Jeannette in 1977 and worked at Canada Post for 32 years retiring as postmaster in Naughton in 2002. In his younger years he enjoyed playing hockey and was an avid bowler. Andre was a devoted husband, loving and proud father and grandfather. His happier moments were spent with his grandchildren whom he called his “Tresors“ enjoying every kiss and hug he gave or received. He was a loyal son to his mother, bound by his strong affection for her. Andre will be sadly missed and will remain forever in the hearts of his family. Memorial Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Saturday, December 5th, 2009 at 12 noon. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury.
