EPPLE, Robert Neil - In loving memory of Robert Neil Epple, 75 years, who passed away Sunday, November 29th, 2009 at the St. Joseph's Villa, Sudbury to be with his Lord and Saviour and waiting at the Eastern Gates for his family. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Kozmick) Epple. Loving father of Nancy (husband Barry Grigg), Judy (fiancé Daniel Rocheleau) and Jamie (wife June). Cherished Grampa of Reilly, Victoria, Kyle, Kristin, Carly, Taylor, Mackenzie, and Austin. Dear son of Christian and Florence (Merrick) Epple predeceased. Dear brother of Viva (husband Neil Green) and predeceased by Austin, Gerald, Lorraine, Gwen and Patricia. Dear brother in law of Kenneth Kozmick (Donna), Barbara Holmes (Robert), James Kozmick (Marisa), John Kozmick (Anne). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Sundridge, Bob married Evelyn (Kozmick) in 1960 in Burke's Falls. He settled in the Sudbury area the same year. A longtime Lively resident, he had been a mechanic at INCO retiring in 1991 with 31 years' service. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Bob loved life and embraced it generously, sharing this light with all he met. He was devoted to his loving family. Even in the challenges of his health he maintained his wonderful sense of humour which encouraged and inspired everyone around him. A man of faith, he had many ministries serving his Lord and living the lessons taught by Jesus. He had a special commitment to advocating and teaching children the ways of God. Bob can echo the words of St. Paul - “I fought the good fight; I finished my course. I kept the faith.“ Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Thursday, December 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment in the Waters Cemetery. Donations to Focus on the Bible or Gideon Bibles or the Elgin St. Mission would be appreciated. Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 pm Wednesday and after 10 am Thursday.
