LAHN, Ella - In loving memory of Ella Lahn, 95 years, who passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at the age of 95. She is predeceased by her husband Eric and her brothers Hermann and Friedrich, and survived by her brother Rudolph. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Barb Koop (husband Gary), granddaughter Robin Koop-Watson (husband Ian), grandson Stephen Koop (wife Tina), and great- grandchildren, Trent, Kyle, Emily, Hanna, and Chelsea. Born in Westerstede, Germany, she emigrated to Canada with Eric and Barb. Her positive, joyful spirit enriched the lives of everyone who came to know her. Although she did not want a funeral service, the best memorial we could wish for would be that her spirit would live on in us. Many thanks to Dr Bayly, and the support of Dr. Cox, nurse Terry Vocaturo and the staff at Lougheed's. At Ella's request there will be no visitation or service.
