COURTEMANCHE, Maurice - Peacefully passed away in Sudbury, his loving family at his side, Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Joseph and of the late Aldea (née Richer) Courtemanche. Beloved husband of Doris (née Dempsey) Courtemanche of Wahnapitae. Loving father of Denis Courtemanche of Espanola, Shirley Dahlvik (Mike) of Wahnapitae and Carol Courtemanche of Val Caron. Dear brother of Gilberte Gravelle and Gabrielle Gervais (Raymond) both of Haliburton. Predeceased by his brothers Arthur, Alfred (late Lorenza) and his sisters Jean Rowe (late Chester) and Lorette Jeannotte. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla (Jeff), Michael, Joe (Melanie), Steven, Katelynn and his great-grandson Jeffery. Lovingly remembered by many brothers and sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Prior to his retirement in 1991, Maurice was a rigger at Falconbridge Nickel Mines. The focus of his life was his loving family who will miss him dearly. He was always there for those who needed a helping hand. Maurice, who enjoyed carpentry, will be remembered for always being busy either tinkering in his garage or working on one of his many hobbies. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to Maison Vale Inco Hospice would be appreciated
