MONTGOMERY, Clifford Francis - In loving memory of Clifford Francis Montgomery, 92 years, who passed away Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 at the St. Joseph's Villa Sudbury. A longtime and well respected Cartier resident, Cliff had been born in Massey. He married Marion (nee Cecile) in Benny in 1946. He had worked at the CPR for 37 years retiring in 1977 as a supervisor. A proud Canadian, he served overseas with the Canadian Army and he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #503 Onaping Falls. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a keen dancer who had a wonderful sense of humour. Clifford will be remembered as a loving and devoted dad and grandfather. Beloved husband of Marion (Cecile) Montgomery predeceased in 1995. Loving father of Cindy (husband Frank Rowe) and Craig predeceased. Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Nathan. Dear son of George and Jessie (Anderson) Montgomery predeceased. Dear brother of William Montgomery and Vivian Tuomi and predeceased by Lloyd and Archie Montgomery, Mae Parker and Merle Skillington. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Sunday, November 22nd, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation with interment in the Cartier Protestant Cemetery.
