DESCHAMPS, Roger - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, November 15, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late John and of the late Aurore (née Brunet) Deschamps. Husband of the late Yolande Deschamps (née Ayotte) predeceased in 2001. Beloved father of Denise Landry (Raymond), Gisèle Depatie (Robert) and Claire Tessier (Henri) all of Azilda, Agnès Thomas (Ken Peters) of P.E.I. and Carole Aubin (Aurèl) of Sturgeon Falls. Dear friend of Françoise Brown. Survived by his sister Rolande Corbeil of Ottawa. Sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren and his 17 great- grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Roger, a retired Inco employee, loved dancing, fishing and was a member of Club d'âge d'or. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, RR15, CHELMSFORD, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
