MCDONALD, Wade Thomas - It is with deep sorrow the families of Wade McDonald announced his passing over, on Friday October 2, 2009 at his residence in Edmonton, Alberta. After a five year courageous battle to cancer. Surrounded by his loving and devoted wife Marisa of 28 years, sons Jonathan and Daniel, mother in law Maria Marrelli and close relatives. Wade was born in Sudbury on February 13, 1959. Wade last attended McLeod elementary school before leaving Sudbury. Wade moved to Edmonton in 1973, where he finished his education and became a painter and decorator, operating his own business for many years. Wade is survided by his mother Yvonne “Smokey“ Neison of Sudbury and three brothers Bill (Claire), Wes (Linda), Warren, two step brothers Rick (Kathy) Sillanpaa, Gary (Maureen) Sillanpaa, step sister Beverly (Ralph) Miller, mother in law Maria Marrelli, in laws Joe (Janet), Vicky(Brian), Fiore (Heather), Grandma Erminia Guercio, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Michael, father Gordon McDonald and father in law Gennaro Marrelli. Donations in Wade's memory can be made to Maison Vale Hospice at 1028 South Bay Rd.
