VAN ALLEN, Margery - of Espanola passed away at the Espanola Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Ken Van Allen (1980). Dear daughter of the late George and Agnes (Melanson) Robbins. Loving mother of Betty (Mrs. Dennis Giesbrecht) of Sault St. Marie, Wayne of McKerrow, David, John (friend Sue) and Kathy (Mrs. Tim Kutschke) all of Espanola, Lynda (Mrs. Bill Stewart) of Webbwood and foster mother of Linda (Mrs. Terry Godfrey) of Orillia. Will be sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. Dear sister of John Robbins (wife Johanne) and Kenneth Robbins (wife Vera) both of Bathurst, N.B., Mary (Mrs. Ron Daly) of Canoe, B.C., Evangeline (Mrs. Nick Timotheatas) of Montral, Gerry Robbins (wife Gisele) of Nackawic, N.B. and the late James and Frank Robbins (wife Melina) and the late Agnes Luce. Margery was a Life Member of the Espanola Royal Purple and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation will be Friday, November 13, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. to the time of the Memorial Prayer Service at 11:00 A.M. in the BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME, Espanola with Father Gilles Grandmont officiating. Interment of ashes in the Espanola Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Espanola Hospital Long Term Care Unit would be appreciated.
