ZACHAROSKY, Andrew “Andy“ - In loving memory of Andrew “Andy“ Zacharosky, 78 years, who passed away Monday, November 9th, 2009 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. A life resident of Sudbury, Andy married Anne (Janiga) in 1956 in Sudbury. He had been a welder at INCO having 42 years service, retiring in 1991. In younger days he had been an accomplished baseball player in Creighton. He enjoyed golfing and spent many happy times with his family at his camp on Lake Penage. He had a great affinity for music, especially the Lawrence Welk program. Andy was devoted to his loving family. Beloved husband of Anne (Janiga) Zacharosky. Loving father of Deborah Lafortune (Robert), Susan Doucet (David), Nancy Koutsoukis, Annie Greenslade (Wade), Andrew (Cheryl Watson) Zacharosky Jr. Cherished Grampa of Marey, Jason, Elaina, Stephanie, Anastasia, Samantha, Mathew, Scott and a granddaughter on the way. Dear son of Andrew and Zuzanna Zacharosky predeceased. Dear brother of Susan Kraik predeceased. Funeral service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Friday, November 13th, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund or charity of choice would be appreciated. Friends may call 5 - 9 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday.
