FILIPPINI, Getulio - In loving memory of Getulio Filippini age 87 years, who passed away Sunday, November 8th, 2009 at the SRH - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Born in Montemaggiore al Metuso Pesaro, Italy he came to Sudbury from Italy in 1952. An industrious man he owned and operated G.Filippini Masonry for many years. In earlier days he had been a member of the Copper Cliff Italian Club & the Caruso Club. Getulio was an excellent winemaker, avid gardener and keen cardplayer. He was devoted to his loving family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beloved husband of Lidia (Renelli) Filippini. Loving father of Lino (wife Donna), Giancarlo and Antonietta (husband Kevin Roach). Cherished Nonna to Darren (wife Carla Abbatemarco), Angela (husband Lawrence Duguay), Neil (wife Jocelyn), Natalie (husband Joey Jeanveau, Linette, Melynda, Roach and Jenna Roach. Much loved Bisnonno to Eric Filippini, Laura Filippini. Seth Duguay, Mya Duguay, Laurel Duguay, Nolan Filippini, Evan Filippini, Ethan Filippini, and Anne-Marie Jeanveau.Dear son of Luigi and Ermelinda (Gianpoli) Filippini both predeceased. Dear brother of Francesco predeceased. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St. Sudbury, Funeral Prayers in the R.J.
