CECCHETTO, Mary (nee Prosperi) - In loving memory of Mary (nee Prosperi) Cecchetto, 89 years, who passed away Friday, October 23rd, 2009 at the Elizabeth Center. Born in Sudbury, where she married Armaldo in 1943, she was a member of Our Lady of Hope and St. Clement's Parishes and CWL. Mary was a wonderful host, welcoming everyone to her home and she was an excellent cook. She enjoyed spending time at the Cottage on Long Lake. The centre of Mary's life was always her family especially her many grandchildren. Beloved wife of Armaldo Cecchetto predeceased 1977. Loving mother of Anthony (Lynn), John (Suzanne), Thomas (Judith), Pauline (Kenneth Russel) and Lenora (Garry Sunstrum). Cherished grandmother of Brent, Carrie Anne (Bradley), Christopher (Liane), Monique (Christopher), Dean (Leigh Anne), Lisa, Benjamin, Paul (Stephanie), Darrell (Heather), Ian (Michelle), Steven (Joann), Jennifer, Stacey (Darren) and greatgrandchildren Jessica, Samantha, Isabelle, Makenzie, Marco, Mia, Graham, Ayden, Dylan, Brandyn, Danielle, William, Alexandra, Paige, Christopher, Michael, Alexander and canine pal Ben-Ben. Dear daughter of Guglielmo and Lavigna (Tabaldi) Prosperi both predeceased. Dear sister of Joseph predeceased (wife Yollanda of Sudbury) and Ida predeceased. Dear sister in law of Lena Dorigo (Victor predeceased), Elena Watson (Lloyd predeceased) and Olindo (Evelyn predeceased) all of Sudbury, predeceased by Aduino (Ida) (Elsie), Edwardo (Phyllis), Alfred (Margaret), Mary Cassio (Romano) and Zelino. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mall in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan St., Monday, October 26th, 2009 at 10am. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Prayers 3pm Sunday. Donations to the Cancer Center would be appreciated (Friends may call 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm Sunday).
