MASSE, Fern - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Monday, October 19, 2009, at the age of 86 years. Son of the late Roméo Masse, the late Francoise (nee LeRiguer) Masse and of the late Marie-Ange (née Savard) Masse. Beloved husband of Thérèse (née Charette) Masse of Sudbury. Loving father of Rick Masse (Linda), Gisèle Perreault (Michel) and Gilles Masse (Linda) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by his sisters Yvette and Yolande and by his brother Léonel. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Janel, Lisa, Julie, Lauralee, Steven, Jennifer, Derrick and by his great-grandchildren Brayden, Sydney, Maddie, Max, Ella and Isabella. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Fern was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved to be surrounded by family and friends and cherished all gatherings especially those at camp. He will be remembered as being involved with the Youth Bowling Council (Y.B.C.) as a master bowler instructor. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing tournaments, especially the Fern Masse Invitational. The family will receive relatives and friends at St- Dominique Church, Tuesday, October 27, 2009 after 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
