DERGANC, Sharon - In Loving Memory Sharon Derganc (nee Levert) 1944 - 2009 The family announces with great sorrow, the passing of their beloved Sharon Derganc, on October 20th at the age of 65 years. She died peacefully at North Bay General Hospital surrounded by love and her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by Leo and their children, Tamara of North Bay, Gerry (Heather) of St. Thomas and Scott of Vancouver. A loving Grandma to Noah, Adam, and Sienna. She will be missed by her sisters Rita (Leo) Dubreuil and Karen (Ron) Suomi and brothers Bernie (Linda) Levert, Terry (Evelyn) Levert, and Marvin (Cathy) Levert. Predeceased by her parents, Lorance and Arnold Levert and Laura and Desmond Levert. Remembered fondly by Leona and George Arnold. Born and raised in McKerrow, Sharon moved to Porcupine, Ontario, where she raised her children. A woman of strong faith and deep love for her family, Sharon's gentle spirit will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations to the House of Kin in Sudbury would be appreciated. Visitations will be held on Friday, October 23rd at STINSON'S FUNERAL HOME, South Porcupine, between 2 and 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday , October 24th at 11 a.m. at St. Joachim's Parish. Father Mitch Sliwa officiating. An interment will follow at the Whitney Cemetery.
