DiVIESTI, Francesco “Frank“ - In loving memory of Francesco “Frank“ DiViesti, 74 years, who passed away Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 at the Maison Vale INCO Hospice. Born in Carpino, Foggia Italy, Frank moved to Canada in 1955 via Pier 21 (Halifax) settling in Sudbury. He married Jeannette (Gauthier) in 1957. An industrious man, he had many businesses and job skills. He was a self-employed trucker for local contractors retiring in 1995. He was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced bountiful vegetables. Frank was quick to help others with any repair or renovation projects. A skilled builder, he had built four homes locally in their entirety. He was devoted to his loving family and happiest when in their company. Beloved husband of Jeannette (Gauthier) DiViesti. Loving father of Anna “Mary“ (husband Marius Kamerbeek), John, Tony (wife Sheila) and Lisa (husband Dan Berthiaume). Dear father-in-law to Melissa Nelson. Cherished Nonno of Michael, John, Conor, Francesca, Kathryn, Laura, Taya, Gina and Alex. Dear son of Orazio and Anna Maria DiViesti predeceased. Dear brother of Domenico, Antonio, Domenica, Antonietta and predeceased by Libero and Donata. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Monday, October 26th, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery Sudbury.
