COULDRIDGE, Meryl Anne - In loving memory of Meryl Anne (Henderson) Couldridge, 65 years who passed away on Saturday, October 17th, 2009 at her home. Beloved wife of Reginald David Couldridge. Loving mother of Ian (wife Fiona) of Keswick and Paul serving with the Armed Forces. Cherished grandmother of Cassandra, Bryce and Tyler. Dear daughter of Robert and Marion Henderson both predeceased. Dear sister of Robert predeceased. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Canada and overseas. Born in London, England, she was proud of her Welsh heritage. She was a dressmaker for the Royal family, moving to Canada she became a commissioner of Oaths and to Keeper of the Records for the Province of Ontario, serving in Toronto for 16 years. She and Reg moved to Webbwood where they owned and operated the Celtic Motel and campsite, then moved to Chelmsford and finally settled in Capreol in 2006. She continued her life long love of sewing, working at Lynn's Place. Meryl served with the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Capreol Branch. She was a committed and active volunteer serving with Lion's Clubs in Valley East, Chelmsford and Sudbury. She enjoyed working annually at the Christmas Telethon, Meryl was a member of St. Alban the Martyr Church. She will be lovingly remembered as a woman who lived her life to help others. Memorial service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, HANMER/CAPREOL CHAPEL, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009 at 2PM Donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund or Child Find would be appreciated.
