DOIRON, Mathieu - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Philias and of the late Marguerite (née Jean) Doiron. Husband of the late Marie Denise Doiron (née Trottier). Loving father of Gaëtanne Gionet (Réjean), Marcel (Charlotte), Yvon (Bridgette) all of Hanmer, Nicole Doiron (Barry Brace) of Marmora and Gérald (Lise Beauvais) of Ottawa. Dear brother of Annette Simard and Émile Doiron (Gilberte) both of Montreal, Camille Doiron (Rita) of Sudbury, Raymond Doiron of Caraquet, New-Brunswick and Onil Doiron of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by his sisters Jeanne Cardinal (late Marcel), Lorraine Paulin (François of Montréal) and his brother Emmanuelle Doiron (Marie-Paule of Sudbury). Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Doiron was a foreman and heavy equipment operator with E & R Jewell Contracting for over 30 years. The focus of Mathieu's life was his loving family with whom he enjoyed spending time. He will be remembered for having loved to have a good time and playing the harmonica. The family expresses its appreciation to the SRH (St-Joseph's Health Centre) 2nd floor nursing staff for their kind and compassionate care. They will receive relatives and friends for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated Friday, October 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
