LONG, (Margaret) “Ruth“ (nee Granger) - The family of Ruth Long announces with sorrow her passing suddenly Sunday, October 11, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Sudbury in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill (William John) Long (1999). Loving mother to Edward (Joan) - Georgetown, Rob (Debbie) - Orangeville, Steven a.k.a. Gee Gee (predeceased 2002), Leslie (Eric) - Capreol, Martin - Muskoka, Marion Murphy, and Mother-in-Law to Paulette Long (Tony), Darlene Long (Marty), and Jill Doupe. Loving Nana to Michlynn Long, Melanie (Chris) Long, Allison (Shane) Brown, Michael Long, Adam Long, Johnathan (Dayna) Brownrigg, Ashley (Mike) Brownrigg, Ryan Tucker, Ryan (Danielle) Shields, Amy (Christian) Shields, Lindsay (Johnnie) Van Wyck, Kati Van Wyck, Billy Van Wyck, Kellie Clarke, and Stephanie Ferguson. Loving Great Nana of 9 with #10 on the way. Long time resident and known to most in Capreol as “The Nana“ or “Mum“. Previously resided in New Toronto and Elliott Lake and spent many summers at Key River. Donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society or charity of your choice. Memorial service to be held at a later date. Special thanks to the staff and doctors at St. Joseph's Emergency for all the care and attention given.
