RENAUD, Paul Sr. (Sir Knight Assembly St-Jacques) - It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the age of 55 years. Son of the late Léo and of Thérèse (née Thibert) Renaud of Sudbury. Beloved husband of Jocelyne (née Governo) Renaud of Hanmer. Loving father of Paul Renaud Jr. (Christiane) and of Sylvie Renaud both of Hanmer. Proud Pépé of Zoë, Isabelle and Éllie. Dear brother of Lorraine Renaud, Francine Renaud, Pierre Renaud, Louise Renaud-Cardinal (Cart), Liette Renaud-Guay (Marc) and Monique Renaud-Gagné (Pierre). Predeceased by his sister Angèle Renaud. Sadly missed by his godchildren, nieces and nephews. Paul was a devoted family man, who loved coaching, fishing, hunting, winning at cards and being with his granddaughters. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, council 5005, Hanmer and 4th Degree St-Jacques Assembly. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph Street, Hanmer, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 11 a.m. in Ste-Marguerite d'Youville Church, Val Thérèse. Donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
