LEITCH, Mary Rose (nee Spencer-King) - In loving memory of Mary Rose (nee Spencer-King) Leitch, 85 years, who passed away Friday, October 9th, 2009 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved wife of Gordon Leitch predeceased 1985. Loving mother of Barbara (husband Donald Pickard predeceased 1989), Joanne Funk, Mary Jane Connor and Sherry (husband Mark Rudzinski) all of Sudbury and Sandra (husband Ronald Savard) of Hanmer. Cherished grandmother of Gordon, Kathy, Richard, Kelly, Brian, Lorie, Dawn, Matthew, Ian, Alex and many great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Louis and Ann Spencer both predeceased and Archibald and Amelia King both predeceased. Dear sister of Jim of Sudbury, predeceased by Nina, Wes, Clarence, Bob, Marjorie and Violet. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Born in New Liskeard, she came to Sudbury at 5 years of age, marrying Gordon in 1939. She worked as a bookkeeper for 45 years retiring in 1997. Mary was a skilled knitter spending many years with Mary Marg and has left a wonderful legacy of her work. She will be lovingly remembered for her devotion and care of her family. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sunday, October 11th, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
