SAMCHUK, Helen - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our sister Helen, on September 28, 2009. Born November 13, 1920 in Sellwood, Ontario. Predeceased by her beloved husband Fred and daughter Sandra Poole. Grandmother of Steven and Janice. Loving sister of Pauline, Jean, Stella, Ollie, and Estelle & husband Michael. Predeceased by her siblings Mary, Mike, Bill, and Peter. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Helen moved from Lively, ON in 2000. She was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church and the Essex Retirees. She was also a member of the Royal Purple (Sudbury). If you so desire, donations to St. Paul's Anglican Church or to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to FAMILIES FIRST FUNERAL HOME & TRIBUTE CENTRE, Windsor, ON (519-969- 5841). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 92 St. Paul's Street, Essex, ON. Rev. Robert Henderson, officiating.
