MARTEL, Firmin Ulric - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Alfred and Marthe (née Bergounion) Martel. Beloved husband of Bernadette Martel (née Laferrière) of Chelmsford. Loving father of Bernard Martel (Joanne), Etienne Martel (Carmen), Alfred Martel, Jacinthe Lortie (Normand), Roméo Martel (Lynn). Alain Martel (Dominique), Yvan Martel (Monique), Ginette Mallette (Larry) and France Lavoie (Charles). Dear brother of Vianey Martel, Roger Martel (Estelle), Madeleine Gaudette and Anicet Martel (Estelle). Predeceased by his brothers Gérard (late Aurore) and Marcelin. Sadly missed by his 18 grandchildren and his 9 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his many relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, RR 15, CHELMSFORD, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 10, 2009 at (time to be confirmed) in St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford.
