PANAMAN, Michael - In loving memory of Michael Panaman who passed away on Monday, October 5th, 2009 at the SRH-St. Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved husband and soul mate of “Lee“ Panaman (nee Gentile). Son of Mary and Harry of Toronto, Ontario (both deceased). Michael served his country for 56 months, mostly overseas and had lots of stories to tell. He came to Sudbury in 1952. He joined Canadian Tire on Elm Street. Michael was remembered in helping the first Sudbury Santa Claus Parade off the ground, and won awards for 3 years for the best floats. He left Sudbury Canadian Tire, joining Canadian Tire office as Director of Store planning and merchandising managing four divisions. In 1980 he left the company joining MacLeod Stedman Inc. holding offices in Toronto and Winnipeg. In 1989 he retired to enjoy his many hobbies; fishing, hunting, gardening, carving and crafts. Michael will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. At Michael's request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the SRH-Heart Equipment Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME.
