McLAUGHLIN, Bessie (nee Anderson) - In loving memory of Bessie (nee Anderson) McLaughlin, 87 years, who passed away Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at the Elizabeth Center, Val Caron. Bessie was born in Parry Sound. She had been a long time resident of Val Caron. An industrious person, she had worked at the Sudbury Separate School board for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. In healthier days, she enjoyed bowling and she had been a member of the Capreol Curling Club. She was an avid sports fan especially watching NASCAR racing. She enjoyed bingo. Bessie will be remembered as a determined and strong willed woman who always influenced others for their benefit and betterment. She was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of Joseph McLaughlin predeceased 1993. Loving mother of Marilyn Peterkin and Kevin McLaughlin (wife Sheila). Cherished Nana of Sherry Roberts, Brenda Stamper, David and Debbie Lefebvre, Paige, Lesley and Courtney McLaughlin; great grandchildren Mariah, Kayla, Sheldon, Erin and Madison. Funeral Prayers at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME Val Caron/Blezard Valley Chapel, 1815 Main St. Val Caron, Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Valley East Cemetery.
