BROUSSEAU, Laurette Hélène - In Loving Memory of Laurette Brousseau, 90 years, who passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday October 1st, 2009, at Extendicare York, Sudbury, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Paul Brousseau, predeceased 1987. Long time dance partner of Aurelien Beaudry. Loving mother of Marc Brousseau of Montreal (wife Kathy), Dorice Hamilton of Oakville (husband Bill), Denise Murray of Arnprior predeceased 2007 (husband Alan), Colette DeAthe of St-Thomas (husband Brian), Denyse Norton of Barrie (husband Doug) and Lorraine Manninen of Sudbury (husband Peter). She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Paul and Jason Brousseau, Kelly Catena, Ryan Hamilton, Marc Hamilton, Debbie and Kevin Murray, Andrea DeAthe, Dan DeAthe, Renee Zulich and Audrey Manninen. Happy great-grandmother of twenty and last survivor of thirteen siblings. Laurette was a woman of incredible strength. She will be remembered by all for the dedication and attention to detail she gave to every task undertaken, the love and acceptance that she showed to all people, and the spirit with which she both came and left this world. Her beautiful smile and talking eyes will forever warm the hearts of all those who have had the privilege of crossing paths with her. The family will receive relatives and friends for a service at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame) Sudbury, Friday, October 9, 2009 from 10:30 to at 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to Extendicare York would be greatly appreciated.
