GIANNOTTA, Lombardo - In loving memory of Lombardo Giannotta, 82 years, who passed away on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at the SRH - Laurentian Site. He was born in Dipignano, Cosenza, Italy and married Raffaella (Doni). Lombardo was a bricklayer for many years and then worked at Laurentian University for 28 years, retiring in 1992. He was a perfectionist who gave 100% to any task or job. His inspired work ethic influenced others and made sure things were done right. He was devoted to his loving family. Beloved husband of Raffaella (Doni) Giannotta. Loving father of Eugenio (first wife Rose Bonazza predeceased) (second wife Lucia Desanto); Lucia Reynolds (husband Vincent), Luciano and Lauretta Giannotta both predeceased. Cherished grandfather of Mathieu Gionnotta, Laura Giannotta (fiance Denny Bulfon), Michael Giannotta, Victoria Giannotta, Gianluca Scaglione, Cristina Reynolds (husband Norman Evans), Alexander Reynolds and Anthony Reynolds. Dear son of Eugenio and Lauretta (Caputo) Giannotta predeceased. Dear brother of Saverio Giannotta (wife Ida) of Australia, Antonietta Disomma (husband Michele predeceased) of Australia, predeceased by Sirio Giannotta, Maria Lunardi (husband Guido) and Paolino Giannotta. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St, Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Sudbury, Saturday, October 3rd 2009 at 10 am. Entombment in the Civic Mausoleum Prayers 4 pm Friday.
