ROY, Lucille (née Lemieux) - Peacefully passed away in Sudbury with her loving family by her side, Thursday, October 1, 2009 in her 83rd year. Daughter of the late Domina and Amélia (née Branconnier) Lemieux. Beloved mother of Gisèle Roy (friend Jim) and Royal Roy both of Sudbury, Diane Rouillard (Jacques) and Daniel Roy (Lydia) both of Blind River. Dear sister of Georges Lemieux (Jeannine), Thomas Lemieux (Aurore), Edmond Lemieux (Paulette), Gaetanne Rivet (Claude) all of Sudbury,Claudette Brisson (Raymond) of Oshawa and Madeleine (late Doris) of St- Charles. Predeceased by her brother Rodolphe (Laurence of London), Raymond (Jeannette of Hanmer)and Claude (Lise of Mississauga). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jackie, Laurie, Eddy, Curtis, Nicholas, Steven, Pierre, Lise, Luc, Matthieu, Julie, Claudia, Lionel, Amanda, Sheldon, Thomas and her great-grandchildren, Alain, Kristin, Nathan, Jessica, Katelyn and Elizabeth. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Sunday from 2-4:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4:30 p.m., in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to Vale Inco Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
