GOBEIL, Eddy - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday, September 21, 2009 at the age of 94 years. Son of the late Joseph and of the late Aimée (née Dussault) Gobeil. Husband of the late Bertha Gobeil (née Rancourt). Loving father of Huguette Girard of Sturgeon Falls, Colette Carrière of Noëlville, Valeda Brunet (Hector) of Gatineau, Qc and Michel Gobeil (Gail) of Pickering. Dear brother of Rose Charlebois of London, ON, Léonie Viau and Edouard Gobeil both of Noëlville and Marie Bélisle of Orleans. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Emma, Irène, Thomas, Paul, Louis, Albert, Léon, Estelle and Hélène. Sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren and his 7 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at St- David's Parish Hall, Monday from 2-5 and 7- 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. St-David's Church, Noëlville. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) the Diabetes Association or “Au Chateau“ Retirement Home, Sturgeon Falls would be appreciated.
