ROCHELEAU, Ghislain Josh(Sir Knight, Assembly Msgr. Adolphe Proulx) - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the age of 68 years. Son of the late Simon and of the late Lucia (née Héroux) Rocheleau. Beloved husband of Jeanne D'Arc Rocheleau (née Gingras) of Chelmsford. Loving father of Josée Neault (René) of Astorville, François Rocheleau (Danielle) of Sudbury and Patrice Rocheleau (Dan Shepherd) of Alban. Predeceased by his daughter Manon. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Serge, Nicholas, Carine, Maxine, Chantelle, Emilee- Ann. Dear brother of Monique (Lactance), Michel (Jeanne D'Arc), Gérald (Ghislaine), Rosaline (Léonard), Mariette, Gracia (Denis), Noël (Tessa), Vital (Lucie), Yolland (Gisèle), Riel (Christiane) and Johanne (Fernand). Predeceased in 1964 by his brother Lorrain. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mr. Rocheleau was a retired miner from Falconbridge Mines Ltd. after 33 years of service. Ghislain was a founding member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree council 6258, Chelmsford, a former Grand Knight and a member of the 4th degree Valley Centre Assembly. Josh will be remembered for having lived his life to its fullness, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and appreciating family gatherings. A Jack of all trades, he was always ready to help those in need. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R 15, Chelmsford, Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, September 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., in St-Joseph's Church, Chelmsford. Rocheleau était à la retraite, ayant été mineur avec la compagnie Falconbridge Ltée. pendant 33 années. Ghislain, ancien Grand Chevailer, était membre fondateur du 3ème degré des Chevaliers de Colomb, conseil 6258, Chelmsford et membre au 4ème degré Assemblée Valley Centre. On se souviendra de Ghislain ayant été un homme à tout faire, toujours prêt à venir à l'aide de ceux en besoin. Il aimait faire la pêche, la chasse, le camping et tout spécialement jouissait des rencontres familiales. La famille recevra parents et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, 4691 R R 15, Chelmsford, dimanche de 14 h 00 à 17 h00 et de 19 h 00 à 21 h 30. La messe funéraire sera célébrée le lundi 28 septembre 2009 à 11 h 00 à la paroisse St-Joseph, Chelmsford.
