COUVRETTE, Jean-Paul (J.P.) - Passed away August 19th at age 41 at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of Jennifer (Cressman). Devoted father of Katie and Jaime. Son of Bernard and Lynne (Wilkinson) of Onaping. Brother of Laura-Lyn (Don) Nantau of Windsor. son-in-law of Penny (Rand) and Ken Cressman of Kitchener. Uncle J.P. to Julia, Jacob, Karys, Rylie, Jennah, Graydon, and Quinn. Cherished nephew, cousin, brother- in-law, neighbour and friend to so many. A northern boy, most at home in a canoe with a fish on the line. As head of the Canadian and World Studies department at O.D.C.V.I., J.P. brought his passion for life and learning to the classroom, his coaching, and all of his relationships. Proud General Manager of the O.D. boys' hockey team, and leader of students' council, the outdoors club, swim team, and staff union president. Past employee of the Orillia YMCA, the Orillia Channel Cats, Geneva Park, and General Motors Testing Centre (Kapuskasing). J.P. will be missed by all of the friends he taught to fish, the athletes he taught to excel, the students he taught to love learning, and the family he taught to love life, and to live true to yourself. Thank you to all those people who shared in the great times, and carried the family through the difficult times. Service to be held Sunday August 23rd, at 2:00 at St. Paul's United Church in Orillia.
