FOISEY, Monique Denise (nee Gagnon) - In loving memory of Monique Denise Foisey (nee Gagnon), 61 years, who passed away Wednesday, August 5th, 2009 at the SRH - St. Joseph's Health Center. Monique was born and raised in the Flour Mill. She married Gerald “Gerry“ Foisey in 1971 at St. Jean de Brebeuf and settled in Wahnapitae. She had been a secretary at MacDonald- Cartier Secondary School for 27 years retiring in 2003. Monique was a keen bingo player. A woman of faith, she belonged to Notre Dame de la Riviere Church where she actively participated in parish activities and projects. Beloved wife of Gerald “Gerry“ Foisey. Cherished daughter of Julien and Corinne (Miron) Gagnon both predeceased. Loving sister of Yvette Leduc (husband Rene) both predeceased, Bernard, Lucille Chamberland (husband Gerry predeceased). Roger predeceased, Lorraine Murchie (husband Carl), Gaetan (wife Sylvia), Claudette Robillard predeceased (husband Royal), Suzanne Malone, Richard (wife Carole) and Robert (wife Lise). Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass in Notre Dame de la Riviere Church, Wahnapitae, Saturday August 15th, 2009 at 11 a.m. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Civic Cemetery.
