LAURICH, Dorothy Violet (nee Harris) - In loving memory of Dorothy Violet (nee Harris) Laurich, 70 years, who passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 8th, 2009 at the SRH Laurentian Site with her loving family at her side. A life resident of Sudbury, Dorothy was a great friend and champion for children. She was a dedicated and hard working volunteer at the playground. She was the organizer and fundraiser for Churchhill Public School trips. An artistic person, she created beautiful crafts. She had a great affinity for animals. A Roman Catholic, she attended St. Andrew the Apostle Church. The focus of her life was her loving family, especially her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren in whom she took great pride and interest in their activities and accomplishments. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Beloved wife of Joseph Laurich. Loving mother of Allan (Christine) and Susan (Tim Wilson). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Marie predeceased 1982, David Laurich (Sarah), Stephen Laurich (Crystal), Marie Clarke and Mandi Clarke. Very proud great grandmother of Connor and Aidan. Dear daughter of Allan and Pauline (Sims) Harris predeceased. Dear sister of Anne Emmerson (Cyril). Dear daughter-in-law of Adelheid and Anton Laurich predeceased. Dear sister-in-law of Heinz (Kathleen), Gerhard, Agnus, Hedwig, Hermann (Anna) and predeceased by Anna and Maria. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Sudbury Wednesday, August 12th, 2009 at 10 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
