Beloved wife of Nando Bartolucci predeceased 1985. Loving mother of Diane (husband Gordon Jacques), Rick (wife Maureen), Elizabeth (husband Garry Spry) and Chris (wife Patti). Cherished Noni of Cathy (husband Peter Martikainen), Stephen (wife Nancy), Angela (husband Todd Robson), Dan, Chris (Amanda), Jimmy, Marissa (Ryan) Michael, and great grandchildren Amanda (Paul), Christina, Cameron, Nicholas, Mia and Maggie. Beloved daughter of Alec and Raffaella (Caputo) Fera predeceased. Dear sister of Charlie (Lucy), Mally (Anita), Tony, Stella (Howard) and Johnny (Terry) all predeceased who are waiting to embrace her in their arms in Heaven. Survived by sister-in-law Linda. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews and their families. Born and raised in Coniston, Mary married “Nando” Bartolucci in Coniston in 1936. They originally lived in Gatchell and then moved to the West End. One of Mary's greatest joys was the gathering of the whole family in her home each Sunday morning after Mass where they all lingered for hours around the table enjoying each other's company. Mary was a woman of faith who on a daily basis lived the lessons taught by Jesus to love her God with heart, soul and strength and love her neighbour as herself. Her love of God was regularly proclaimed in her ministry and many activities at her parish Our Lady of Perpetual Help later becoming Our Lady of Hope Church, and the Legion of Mary. She had played the organ at daily mass for the past 69 years. Her love of music brought glory to God and inspiration to her brothers and sisters in Christ. Always quick to help others she had volunteered at the hospital and ladies auxiliary at the church. For those efforts she was given a Queen's Jubilee Medal. She was a gracious and welcoming host who was happiest when preparing a meal for family or friends. This ministry of food was legendary and appreciated by all who visited her home. As she filled your body with her wonderful soup she nourished your soul with her light and prayer. Mary was a well loved and respected matriarch whose wit and wisdom encouraged and inspired all she met. The focus of her life was her loving family. She took great pride and interest in their activities and accomplishments. She is now a guardian angel for them in heaven. Mary is reunited with her beloved husband Nando as she hears God say “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter yours is the Kingdom of Heaven”. God bless you Noni!
