GAGNON, Adelard - The family announces with sorrow his death, Monday July 27, 2009, in Sudbury, at the age of 94 years. Husband of the late Délina Gagnon (née Comtois). Son of the late André and of the late Marie (née Morin) Gagnon. Loving father of Adoris Gagnon (Joanne) of Falconbridge. Predeceased by his son Paul Gagnon (Carole of Val Thérèse). Loving stepfather to Alice Shank (late Euclide) and Cécile Quesnel (late Germain) both of Sudbury. Predeceased by his stepchildren Ovila Houle (late Léona), Émilianna Roy (late Éda), Marie Rose Shank (late Roland), Éméry Houle (Doreen of Garson) and Albert Houle (late Fabianna). Survived by one sister Noëlla Lafrenière of Quebec. Predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Paul Jr. Gagnon (Mein Lin), Janet Skuce (Michael), Guy Gagnon and by his great grandchildren Samantha, Jennifer, Jessica and Maria. Lovingly remembered by many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre- Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 30, 2009 (time to be confirmed) in St. Dominique Church, Sudbury.
