In loving memory of Guy Lachance who passed away suddenly at the age of 60 in the early morning of July 25, 2009 at Cyprus Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Beloved husband of Sue Fitzgerald. Loving father to Jasmine Beange (husband Dawson) and Renee LePera (husband Craig). Dearest step-father to Michelle Fitzgerald (friend Bryan Fournier), Kelly Fitzgerald, and Cheryl Fitzgerald. Treasured eldest son of Therese Roy (nee Morel), and Alfred Lachance (predeceased). Adored Papa of Joshua, Dylan, Tanner, Anthony, Zachary, and Holden. Cherished brother of Charlie Lachance (wife Lynda), Lise Hodges (husband Tom), Paul Lachance (wife Diane), and Richard Lachance (wife Sandra). Guy grew up in the town of Burwash. He worked as a Corrections Officer at Cecil Facer for many years. He is remembered by his loved ones as a fun-loving guy who always had a twinkle in his eye. Guy left Sudbury in 2006 to move to the small prairie town of Ponteix, Saskatchewan. Guy loved it there and has spent the last three years enjoying the prairie life with his love Sue. Friends and family are invited to join his daughters for a celebration of Guy’s life at 6 Peter Street North, Copper Cliff, Ontario on Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 5-9pm.
