SNOW, Gerald “Gerry“ - In loving memory the family announces the passing of Gerald “Gerry“ Snow, 69 years, on Wednesday July 22, 2009 to cancer with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Isabelle (nee Dokis) of 47 years. Loving father of Sharon (husband Bobby Mayhew) of Oshawa, Jim Snow (wife Kim) of Hanmer and Tracey (husband Cary Fish predeceased), of Hanmer. Cherished grandpa of Taylor, James, Chris and Troy. Dear son of Clune and Margaret Snow both predeceased, of Belle Island, Newfoundland. He will be missed by his siblings Mary (Joe Atkins), Joan Simpson predeceased, Sid Snow predeceased (Sandy), Margaret (Joe Boland), Ed Snow (Gloria), Theresa (Tilly Gallant), Gertrude (Kevin George), Barbara (Max Barrett predeceased), and Debbie (Gary Noseworthy). Brother in law to Carolyn (Earl Vail predeceased), of Kitchener and Gary Dokis, wife Lena, of Ottawa. He will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends, with special thanks to Darryl Shields and Doug Goodale. Gerry retired having 30 years service with INCO and held many positions with the Transportation and Safety Department. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends while fishing on Manitoulin Island. Gerry was of Roman Catholic faith and enjoyed being involved in many activities including volunteering for the St. Vincent De Paul. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Sawkiw, Dr. Dubé from Maison VALE INCO Hospice; all staff members, Bayshore, Red Cross, We Care and Warm Hearts volunteers for their care, warmth and compassion. Donations to the Maison VALE INCO Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Prayers in the R.J.
