NAULT, Paul - The family announces with sorrow his passing at Extendicare York, Sudbury, Sunday July 19, 2009 at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Albert and of the Late Laurette (née Dubois) Nault. Step-son of the late Leo Gascon. Husband of the late Shirley Nault (née Amyotte). Loving father of Janet Brunet (Normand) of Dubreuilville, Nicole Eaton (Bill Park) of Kingston, Paula Kenny (Ed Robitaille) of Sudbury and Teri Croteau of Windsor. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Dylan (Thais), Gabriel (Lily), Carmen (Robert Poulin), Rachel (Glenn Thompson), Brennan (Shala Gagnon), Michael, Brie and by his great-grandchildren Parker, Abigail and Ethan. Dear brother of Eugenie Suffel (late Peter) of Abbotsford, BC, Albert Nault (Helene) of Georgetown and Richard Gascon (Lana) of Wahnapitae. Pre- deceased by his brothers George (late Lois) Nault and Jean Gascon (late Barbara). Born in Sudbury, Paul worked for Inco until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and Dubreuilville became his retirement home where he hunted and fished to his heart's content. In later years, he returned to Sudbury, taking residence at The Breezes Retirement Home before moving to Extendicare York. Paul could often be found travelling the 4th floor halls stopping to chat and or to share a chuckle with residents and staff alike. He was never without his playing cards, his Sudbury Star or his trusty reacher. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to all of his friends and staff at the homes for their kind and compassionate care. Paul is reunited once again with his many canine friends, especially his beloved Spike. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd (at Notre-Dame) Thursday evening from 6-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 24, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Ontario SPCA, Sudbury & District Branch, Extendicare York Residents Council or the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated. “Peanuts. . . in this your final game of solitaire. . .
