THOM, Bruce - In loving memory of Bruce Thom, 42 years, who passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Centre on Tuesday, July 21st, 2009. He has now found his peace after a short and courageous battle with A.L.S. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Tutty) of Lively. Loving father of Ian and Mark at home. Dear brother of Scott (wife Suzanne) of Lively and Bonnie Thom-Rodriguez (husband Paul) of Mississauga. Beloved son of John and Gwen of Onaping. Special uncle “Boo“ of Matthew, Ceili, Clare, Ryan, Celina, Patrick, Darren and Anthony. Life long friend of Tim and Jeff. Bruce was born in Sudbury on February 12th, 1967. He had worked for T.D. Waterhouse as an investment advisor. Spending time in the great outdoors, especially at the family camp on Manitoulin Island, brought much joy to his life. During most of his life, he had a passion for hockey. He will be missed by all who knew him. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service at the Church of the Epiphany, 85 Larch St. on Friday, July 24th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the A.L.S. would be greatly appreciated.
