NEELY, John Weston Buchanan - In Loving Memory Of John Weston Buchanan Neely, 91 years, son of Elizabeth and John of Dunrobin, Ontario, passed into the hands of his awaiting heavenly Father, Tuesday, July 14th, 2009. We know he eagerly looked forward to the opportunity to discuss with John the Apostle the many details of the “end times”, his favourite Biblical topic. He was predeceased by siblings Eldon, Earl, and Beatrice. Born, July 22nd, 1917 in the Neely log farmhouse, in Dunrobin, now Ottawa Ontario, his rich and accomplished life included rising to the rank of Lieutenant in the Air Force, assisting in church planting in Niagara Falls, Richvale and Scarborough, Ontario, and co-founding one of Markham's leading care facilities, Markhaven Home for Seniors. He never aspired to be visible or recognized. His quiet demeanor was sought after by those seeking driving lessons and his steadiness with work and bookkeeping made him a valued part of his father-in-law's printing business. He leaves behind his four children John, Keith, Susan and Timothy and their mother Lois, 13 grandchildren; Joseph, Tammy, Jessica, Andrea, Lisl, Teri Lynn, Carrie, Joel, Andrew, Craig, Curtis, and Diana, as well as 6 great-grandchildren; Benjamin, Libby (Elizabeth), Mats, Keely, Austin and Grace.
