LENTIR, Reginald James - August 13, 1959 – June 24, 2009 Reg Lentir, a resident of R.R. 1, Providence Bay, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the age of 49 years. Reg was a graduate of Manitoulin Secondary School and went on to graduate from New Liskeard Agricultural College in 1979. Reg farmed his whole life on the family farm and also worked in the family sawmill. He held positions in many different organizations over the years, such as the Soil and Crop Association, the Cattlemen's Association, the Historical Society, the Providence Bay Cemetery Board, and he was this year's President of the Providence Bay Agricultural Society. He also loved to hunt. Reg spent many hours on the computer researching family history. Reg had a unique sense of humour and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Reg is the loving son of Elizabeth (Betty) and the late George Lentir Jr. Dear brother of Shirley Legge (Owen), Fred, Lenora Tann (Mike), and Rob (Andrea). Dear Uncle of Julie and John Allen, Jackie Legge, Wayne Legge, Andrea Tann and Glen Baker, Brad and Jessica Tann, Lisa Tann, MaKenna and Avery Lentir and Great Uncle of Jesse and Jarret Allen. Friends may call at the CULGIN FUNERAL HOME after 7.00 p.m. on Sunday. The funeral service will be conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 11.00 a.m. with Rev.
