Lepre, Federico 'Fred'

In Loving Memory of Federico “Fred” Lepre 81 years Who passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lidia, his children Tiziana Lepre, Frank Lepre (Ellen), Paolo Lepre (Jennifer) and Rita MacDonald (Derek). Adored by his grandchildren Paul (Melissa), Nathan, Matthew, Alicia (Chris), Lia, Max, Spencer, Olivia, Emily and Freddie. He will be sadly missed by his great grandchildren Dylan, Jacob, Hailey and Grace, brothers Eligio Lepre (predeceased) (Maria), Aldo Lepre (Philomena), Ercole (Antonietta) and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Born in Carpineto Romano, Italy, he moved to Canada in 1967 with his wife Lidia and three of his children, Tiziana, Frank and Paolo. He worked as a painter for several years before joining Falconbridge where he worked 27 years. Federico was always happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He cherished large family gatherings and always wanted to share in a meal. In his younger years, he would tend to his enormous vegetable garden and was well known for his homemade “grape juice” that paired well with the fruits of his labour from his garden! Many a Lepre celebration was had that included pasta, vino and lots of laughs. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 4-8:00 P.M. Friday with parish prayers 4P.M. Friday.) Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at 10:30am Entombment in the Civic Cemetery Mausoleum. At the family’s request, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
